Post-excitation
` "the thirteen year old in me is flabbergasted." izzah says:
1) Dress was a SUCCESS, I still thought I was fat....but it turns out, when your classmates only EVER see you in school uni and conservative Indian clothes, no one realizes you have a rather huge rack. Which apparently, I do.......?
Amilyn says:
Lol
` "the thirteen year old in me is flabbergasted." izzah says:
2) Jarrod was there......and while he DIDN'T ask me to marry him, I have a PICTURE WITH HIM!!!!!! YESs! FINALLY!!!!! It MAY also be with Shaun, but that's OK :)
` "the thirteen year old in me is flabbergasted." izzah says:
3) I won an award :) Got the Citizenship Award medal and the second highest in class (in terms of academic awards), meehee.
` "the thirteen year old in me is flabbergasted." izzah says:
4) My favourite teacher was sitting at my table, and her son is REALLY cute :) Her other son's autistic and an awesome friend, and he ALSO won the Citizenship award (double recipients), but Casey (the older son) is REALLY REALLY cute.

AND 5) My shoes, makeup and hair were awesome....seriously, my friend did my makeup really really well and it looked all natch n schmizz......and my HAIR WAS A CREATION!
` "the thirteen year old in me is flabbergasted." izzah says:
It WAS! I got it done in a salon and my neighbour did it.

And The Award For The World's Nerdiest Statement Goes To........
"And after the HSC, I'm gonna wake up at a NORMAL time!!!! Like...8! Or maybe even 9!"
Ya know, as opposed to the 4 and 5 am study capers I put myself through now.
So here's my Post-HSC List, feel free to add some :D
1) Lose the 6 kilos before college so I can fit into all my pretty old kurtas that now make my back flab look like I'm trying to smuggle in cocaine packets under my bra.
2) READ. Make good on the Borders Deal. (The Borders Deal with my rents is that after the HSC, as a late bday present, I can walk into the enormous, 2-storey Borders Bookstore and buy whatever I want, on them.)
3) Watch every movie I missed and wanted badly to catch: Borat, Knocked Up, Superbad, THE MATRIX AND LOTR TRILOGIES SO I AM A LOSER NO MORE....and basically everything else I can rent from VideoEzy.
4) Go to Sydney. Shop. Repeat.
5) Start making miniatures again....god, I miss that stuff. Such an awesome hobby.
Shut up, I'm not a loser.
6) Watch Scrubs S5 and 6.
7) Oh, and on the LAST day of the HSC, I'm going to tell That Guy that I like him. It'll be fun, because hopefully by then, I'd have lost a couple of kilos ergo looking AWESOME in my Formal Dress (it's gorgeous, I shall pictorialize it for you as soon as my camera comes back to life) and so, when I see him again after that, I'll just look hot, as opposed to desperate and slightly chubby.
:)

going to JP
i have only been to JP twice since it started charging for entrance and rides, and both times were for bringing relatives that came from abroad to visit. yesterday, i did otherwise - going there just to have fun.
WHAT FUN? 98% of the park is closed. it's a pretty sad sight, i remember its glorious days once upon a time when it was every child's dream. and most importantly ALL RIDES ARE WERE FREE!! in my opinion i think it would've been even better than Disneyland, if it had been famous enough (publicity!!).
ANYWAY! clint decided to go for kart racing.

(allow me to digress a bit here.)
I WANT TO CRY ALREADY!! something BAD happened to my camera! all the pictures came out stripy! i dont know why! THIS IS AWFUL!! i am so upset!! no fel, it's not because i took the camera on the water log ride, the pictures we took before that were already stripy!! why!!! someone please tell me why??? sob.
-end of digression-
YUP it was quite fun really, driving around the circuit and racing one another. best part? OVERTAKING SOMEONE! mwaaahhahahahaa. it's $2 per go, so quite cheap for a thrill...i guess? i only brought $6 but thrice is more than enough. and because we're using a public helmet..we had to use (recycled) hairnets/shower caps or something like that. as disgusted as we all were (except clint coz he brought a SWIMMING CAP!) we just put it on and try not to think about it.
we also went to the mountain splash log rides which i really dont know what it's official name is. took a video for the whole circuit too risking the potential splash and soaking of the camera (AGAIN, it was not ruined because of the soaking im sure!). the video was surprisingly clear and bright despite the insufficient lighting esp in the caves! upload it some other time when i have broadband connection, it's more than 7MB put together.
and of course, we went for the bumper cars! what a great way to unleash your inner child by violent crashing and running into pile-ups with maximum impact and transfer of momentum omg stop talking physics. i think i hurt my neck when i experienced 4 crashes one after another with no time for recovery. it was like "WOW CRAP OMG DAMN!" head turn left right up down left up down right etc. OUCH! i think i had enough bumper car for one year. or maybe i'm too old for it already. or maybe as you grow older, the crashes get more violent. EEEEEEEEE!! no pictures, everyone was in the ride. amir, denise, fel, clint, afandi, hanif, brandon, teo, some other people i dont remember their names (oops).
after all the exhaustion, we took kiddy rides!!

it was all breezy and relaxing swung in the air..until afandi decided to get out of his coach and attempt a jump to clinton's coach behind him!! crazy nut. i really dont know if the operator noticed, he seemed so sleepy (no business wah) but the ride stopped before afandi could make his jump.
among other things,
afandi needs a swim
and they all look constipated
not long after this shot was taken, denise gave afandi a wedgie. he was practically asking for it!! haha.
it was already past 12 before we knew it. wow. 4 hours flew by just like that.
JP is still fun.

retail therapy
retail therapy always works! mwahahahaha.
the past few days i've been stressing out on university choices, courses, career paths and everything. this afternoon i went to B.Lau Edu Services with Teo (who has already decided on doing medicine) to get some ideas and help, plus counselling. so frustrated.
after that we went to watch Train Of The Dead with Jon, Din, Mubarak and JunYi. not bad, the movie, but not really a must watch. a lot of Karma Karma thing..
AND THEN SHOPPING!!!
i told Teo i want to buy shoes, randomly went into Heatwave, scanned through the row of shoes on display, picked one, tried it on, paid for it, and left the shop wearing it. it all happened within 10 minutes. TALK ABOUT IMPULSE PURCHASE!
but i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVVVVEEEEE what i bought.
and then we strolled around the mall in my new shoes! and then we went to Charles and Keith. and then i saw another pair of shoes. I WANTED IT! but Teo confiscated my purse. pffft.

so, Iqbal, being a sweetheart he always is, BOUGHT IT FOR ME AS A BELATED BIRTHDAY GIFT AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
2 pairs of shoes in one day. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
