remember those shoelace-like strings that was all the fad (replacing necklaces, chokers bracelets, etc) back in '02? those things that look like these:

remember ego accessories selling them for $1 each?
and ego accessories still selling them $1 each?

77th street here also sells it for $1 each.

now start to wonder what's up with my expression above.

i'll tell you.

i found a shop selling them 10 for $1.

that's right. A DOLLAR FOR TEN PIECES. T-E-N!!

i don't know why exactly i'm so pissed off, but i simply bought ten of those JUST BECAUSE I CAN, for ONE DOLLAR. and i don't even have a use for them, i'm just going to throw them around the room, because they're TEN FOR A DOLLAR!

Civil Servant

Three boys are in the schoolyard bragging of how great their fathers are. The first one says, "Well, my father runs the fastest. He can fire an arrow, and start to run, I tell you, he gets there before the arrow".

The second one says, "Ha! You think that's fast! My father is a hunter. He can shoot his gun and be there before the bullet".

The third one listens to the other two and shakes his head. He then says, "You two know nothing about fast. My father is a civil servant. He stops working at 4:30 and he is home by 3:45!!"

exams for me in a week! and in 2 weeks i'll be off, relaxing, getting a tan in my new bikini and maybe have a grey's anatomy or gossip girl marathon! WHEEEE!

went to zouk flea market last week, first time i saw it bathed in light inside, quite interesting. it was crazy packed!! even worse than club time itself, and at least then you're dancing, probably next to a hot guy so you don't really care, but THIS, you're supposed to be browsing and scrutinizing your purchase so NO, i hate hate hate sardine packing. grrr. thus, didn't buy much stuff.

bought something for fel though ;)
